John Day Fossil Beds National Monument – Kid’s Perspective

When I went to John Day Fossil Beds National Monument I had lots of fun. Of course we did the Junior Ranger program. First, we went to the information center

watched a video. We also went around the museum and looked for answers to are questions in the Junior Ranger book. When we were there we learned a lot. Something I learned that I found most appealing was back then they had 3 toed Horses. The last thing we did is get are badges from the Ranger Megan Wilkins.  Ranger Wilkins was very nice and took a picture with us!

Before we left the park we visited the Painted Hills.  It was a drive to get there but it is a must see at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument!

That was my trip at John Day Fossil Beds.
