Tahoe Rim Trail Challenge #3- Hell Hole via Big Meadow Trailhead
Today (August 2, 2014) we hiked the Tahoe Rim Challenge #3. I had lots of fun. The hike was 17 miles. We went to Hell Hole. My favorite part was getting to be with my family. It was lots of fun. We saw millions of chipmunks. We also think we saw quails. We are going to send a picture to the Tahoe Rim Trail Association to see if they are really Quails. The Hike took us about 6 hours with an hour break. In the hour break we ate sandwiches this time with a Bobo Bar. Bobo bars are delicious and nutritious when we go on hikes.
It also gives you lots of energy. This hike was much easier than half dome. I think the reason we were so tired after the hike was just because of the distance. Even though the place we went to is called Hell Hole, it was really pretty. We also took are Go Cam with us again. This time it was every 5 seconds. It was also very beautiful on the way we saw some beautiful meadows and some amazing flowers in the meadows. We also took our favorite stuffed animals with us. Mom and Dad are going to make a shirt for them. On the way down we were going so fast that we hiked 4 miles under 1 hour. When we
were done we were super tired. As always we got Ice cream. We all got a bacon maple ice creams at the Red Hut cafe. That is the end of my trip on the Tahoe Rim Trail Challenge #3.
